We advocate for firefighter safety through the use of air management best practices and it's associated technologies to extend firefighters' lives.
More Air. More Time.
Codes for the Firefighter Air Replenishment System (FARS) vary from state to state and city to city. If your jurisdiction is researching codes, use the FARS CODE TRACKER to first determine whether your state has adopted the code in another jurisdiction. If it does, review the Ordinance that was approved by the municipal jurisdiction. That ordinance can help you start the discussions about adoption in your area. If you are uncertain about requirements or trends in specific types of settings, for instance metropolitan vs. suburban, reach out to an FAC Advocate for direction and guidance.
